THE FIVE STEPS TO HEAVEN

1. Acknowledge that you have sinned.

"As it is written, there is none righteous no, not one."

Romans 3:10

"For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

2. Realize that there is a penalty for your sin.

"For the wages of sin is death..."

Romans 6:23a

The word "death" means separation. The death referred to here means

eternal separation from God into the lake of fire as stated in Revelation 21:8.

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers,

and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolators, and all liars, shall have

their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the

second death."

Revelation 21:8

3. Acknowledge that Christ paid the penalty of sin for you.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were

yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Romans 5:8

4. Acknowledge that Christ wants to give you the free gift of eternal life in heaven.

"...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Romans 6:23b

5. You must believe in Christ and ask Him to be your Saviour."

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt

believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou

SHALT BE SAVED."

Romans 10:9

"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth

confession is made into salvation."

Romans 10:10

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Romans 10:13

Taking Him as your Saviour is the next step. How? Simple, talk to Him.

"Dear Jesus, forgive me of all my sins and save my soul. I repent of all my

sins and ask you to come into my heart and be the Lord of my life. Take

control of my life, for I give myself to Thee. Thank you for hearing my

prayer and saving my soul. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen."
